Love - Love - Love this amazing maze of vintage art, furniture, clothing, jewellery and other objects mixed with more modern clothing and accessories. It’s pure joy to walk around and almost get lost in the many isles of this place. If you are a collector of things or just looking for something unique, plan a day trip and enjoy yourselves, spend a fortune or walk away with a bargain! You will want to come back for more ;)
LOVE LOVE LOVE!! The energy of the people, the items and clothing are to DIE 4!! I’m obsessed with everything I brought today✨ was drawn into the store as they have very old 70s toys and comic books so was very nostalgic! Then was greeted by the most amazing staff! Giovanni, Dee, Russell, Sandy are so beautiful and super helpful! I had clothes upon clothes and couldn’t resist buying it all <3 IM IN HEAVEN!! THIS PLACE IS AWESOME xx
Was able to have a look for Christmas presents for my grandparents too are there is so much variety of vintage collectibles in the store. Anything you can think of this store has it 🫶 great energy and I can’t wait to come back! Definitely a must if you’re on chapel :))
Cheers!
My 2nd favourite place in Melbourne (NGV is first but like... it's a close call). The people who work here are phenomenal, kind, helpful and just really lovely! The items inside range from amazing to downright insane! I've found the most random things that have been the perfect thing for my projects (like vintage photo frames I can paint).
They have a Fraggle Rock plush. I'll leave that there. Truly an icon.
Regardless whether you want to buy something here or not, this is easily one of the most interesting and fascinating places to visit on Chapel Street. Feels like a museum with free entry. So much history, I think I stayed for 35 mins. I did not buy anything but still felt it was time very much well spent.
Many many kind of vintage and antique items here
Easy to find things
Tidy area set up a block as a block so easy to walk and find the items you looking for
Always got something here every time I come and always have something updated
Not many place around the city like this
Friendly owner and he's always gave me a recommendation about what I interested
Messy, overpriced and awful experience with the team. For the most part the stall-owners who wander around offering to help are friendly enough, but the couple who own the jewellery stall right near the entrance need to stop being so awful …
Chapel Street has changed so much over the years. The Bazar is a welcome change and ongoing institution in this area. Almost anything can be bought here. I generally buy vintage jewelry for the Mrs,and maybe a vynal album or 2 for me.
Such an awesome quirked up place!! My friend and I spent about an hour just looking around, there are so many awesome vintage finds here!! Would definitely recommend
Sundays- opens at 12
Helpful staff, also gave good advice about parking meter fines. Diverse selection of items, easy to spend hours browsing here
Huge variety of second hand items. Around 50 stalls selling vintage, antique and modern items. Includes clothing, decorative items, jewellery, furniture, kitchenalia, memorabilia, some music and electronics. Most items have price tags and can be negotiated on.
